Deepak Chopra
Also known as Chopra, Epoch Chopra
Deepak Chopra is a physician by training who became one of the most widely read writers on consciousness, meditation, and personal wellbeing. His best known book, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, frames achievement as the outcome of practiced orientations rather than force of will, among them giving, detachment, and what he calls the law of least effort. Running underneath that framework is a distinction between abundance and scarcity: whether a person moves through the world expecting there is enough, or braced for there not to be. That distinction is why Chopra shows up here. A poverty mindset is not only a mood, it is a set of defaults that quietly narrows what someone will even attempt, and naming it turns it into something workable rather than something you simply are. Chopra also reaches for quantum physics as a bridge between mind and matter, a move physicists have contested for decades, and his ideas hold up better read as practical psychology than as a claim about particles.
